In creating this series, I thought it was a seamless change of subject from my earlier cosmic, abstract paintings. Just some fresh air, like during and after a storm...
But I think at this point I had forgotten how strong winds and storms excite and impatient me! The changes, oh, I needed them.
I felt an eerie calmness after finishing 'Summer', with no plan in my head for what would come next, but just knowing that it would not be what it was before.
