My practice is rooted in the human relationship with nature. I combine romantic wonder at the natural world with the experience of mourning.
This tension shapes how I paint. I move between abstraction and realism, taking inspiration from anthropology, history, and physics. Experiment and chance are central to my practice. I find in this a space where thinking can remain open, fluid, and uncategorised. Through physical experiments with air movement, magnetism, and chemical reactions, I create paintings on the edge of control and chaos, opening space for new ways of seeing nature and reality.
